The Management and Business Administration programmes are best suited to participants with a minimum Intermediate level of English on entry (IELTS 5.5 for the certificate; IELTS 5.0 for the higher certificate, diploma and foundation), who are seeking a professional skills programme specialising in English, management and business administration. The courses are aimed at young professionals and students who are seeking a career or further study in management and require proficiency in English. Depending on the options selected by students, these courses lead to awards from BBSI, CMI (Certificate in Management), City & Guilds (Vocational Key Skills Certificate) and NCFE.

Certificate
A 12-week (1-term) certificate course (CMB 12) comprises 26 lessons weekly in English, management and business administration. Students would study term 2 of the diploma programme. The course leads to BBSI and NCFE awards. The minimum language proficiency for entry is IELTS 5.0.
Course Elements
The management syllabus incorporates modules of the CMI Certificate in Management (full information on CMI can be found in the BBSI Prospectus or at ww.bbsi.co.uk). Topics covered include:

Chartered Management Institute (CMI) elements that are incorporated into the BBSI management syllabus and which encompass the CMI modular programme.

Learning Outcomes
Students with good attendance and who complete all assignments can expect to achieve a minimum language level of IELTS 6.0/6.5. They will also be able to function effectively in English in a professional business environment, and will have acquired a sound knowledge and understanding of international business and management.
