The Media and Communications programmes are best suited to participants with a strong Intermediate level of English on entry (equivalent to IELTS 6.0 for the certificate; IELTS 5.5 for the higher certificate, diploma and foundation), who are seeking a professional skills programme specialising in English, media and communications. The courses are aimed at young professionals and students who are seeking a career or further study in media-related fields and require proficiency in English. Depending on the options selected by students, these courses lead to BBSI and NCFE awards, and the City and Guilds (Vocational Key Skills Certificate)

The 36-week (3-term) diploma course (DMC 36) comprises 26 lessons weekly. The course includes all 3 terms described and leads to BBSI and NCFE awards, plus the City and Guilds (Vocational Key Skills Certificate). The minimum language proficiency for entry is IELTS 5.5.
